Vascular Lab - ICAVL Accredited

Early detection of vascular disease is important for optimum treatment. Non-invasive screening tests provide a powerful tool to unmask hidden disease. Patients who have undergone surgery for vascular disease achieve better outcomes when their disease is monitored over time. Vascular screening and surveillance exams can be performed in a comfortable, painless, non-invasive manner with Duplex Ultrasound technology.

When vascular testing is performed, it is important to ensure that strict methods are used to provide consistent, reliable results. The vascular lab at the Hickory Surgical Clinic is ICAVL accredited. This ICAVL accreditation is an assurance to our patients of our commitment to quality in vascular testing, meeting or exceeding nationally recognized standards for vascular testing.

All examinations are performed in a private setting by an experienced technician, and the results are interpreted by a fully qualified vascular surgeon.
